A grace period MAY be allowed through the 5th of that month, at the Landlord's discretion, but is not guaranteed.
A $50 Late Fee will be applied if the full payment is not received by the 5th of the Month.

No, at no time may the Security Deposit be used to cover the Rent at any point during the Lease.
Your Security Deposit is due within 3 days of the Lease being signed. It will be returned to you within 30 Days of the Move Out inspection being performed, less any that had to be retained for repairs, etc.
Your Security Deposit can be used to cover any damages, unpaid rent/fees, to cover any damages and/or terms in your Lease that you were responsible for that you did not fulfill that is allowable by Alaska State Law and your Lease.
